Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box

I finished up Professor Layton and the Diabolical Box last night. Wow. It was really good. I absolutely love the Professor Layton so far. The animation is amazing, the story is fascinating, and the puzzles are fun! I already feel let down that I beat the game, but there are still more puzzles for me to finish. Next I'm going to play some Phoenix Wright in preparation for Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth, releasing in a few weeks.

Hello World, Desperate Struggle, and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom

Hi, I'm Peter! I review iPhone and iPod Touch here at Game-Boyz, and now I'm going to blog a bit too!

I've been playing two new games that came out Tuesday, No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle and Tatsunoko vs. Capcom: Ultimate All Stars. I've been looking forward to both of them for quite some time. Surprisingly they both came out on the same day, but I don't mind. They fill different needs.

Topless Double Decker

The first night in any hotel is always a restless one for me. Thank god for the convertible double decker shuttle bus this morning. Sitting up top with a cool breeze in my face and the best of Led Zepplin playing on my iPhone the right to the Las Vegas convention center was a surreal moment.

Sitting at the airport heading to Vegas for CES

Well i'm making the trek to CES 2010. Not sure if luck is shining my way but got the emergency aisle window seat. Even the ticket agent was amazed. Will plunk a dollar into a slot machine when i get there to see if my luck holds out.

CES promises to be a good one , for me anyways, this year. There's no shortage of things to look forward to. From meeting Ford technologies to the latest in electronic underwear. Just kidding there but hey you never know.

Blu-ray is making lots of headway....and it is a great way to watch movies

The interesting thing about working in an industry like electronics is that not everyone sees things the same way. Case in point, fellow staffer Murray G and his recent rant about Sony’s lack of progress with Blu-ray.

Come on Blu Ray get your act together

Its been almost a year since Sony won the "HD" war. Still the selection of Blu Ray movies is poor. I'm extremely disappointed that Sony won the HD war based upon what they've done so far.

Sony has a history of shooting itself in the foot when it comes to consumer electronics, PlayStation franchise aside. Beta and Walkman are just two things that come to mind.

Instead of flooding the market with Blu Ray movies Sony has been dilly dallying around. This strikes to me of arrogance. "Yes we won the war so we'll get round to it (releasing product)when were good and ready".
